I have 3 kids, ages 6, 4, and 2, and am fairly protective of what they watch. We have done some experimenting (with good and bad results) but here's our current list (YMMV).
Good/Great:
Babe (one scary scene but generally great film, too bad it's P&S)
Bug's Life
Mary Poppins
Toy Story 2
Chicken Run
Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas
The Incredible Adventures of Wallace and Gromit
The Little Mermaid
Great Music/Musicals:
Sound of Music
My Fair Lady
Singin in the Rain
Fantasia 2000
Willy Wonka (only the widescreen version, of course!)
Blue's Big Musical Adventure
Yellow Submarine (although my kids don't like the Blue Meanies)
Riverdance
Stomp: Stomp Out Loud (be careful lest your kids get into it and want to try it at home) sure gets their attention!
So-So:
Babe 2 (dark, not as engaging)
Iron Giant (but think hard about when/whether you want to expose them to scenes of military aggression)
Toy Story 1 (the mean kid freaks little ones out)
Tarzan (some intense sections)
Not for my kids:
Shrek (crude humor)
Good/Great:
