The AVR4802 .pdf manual doesnt cover any video setup options. I'm deciding between the AVR4802, Integra 7.2 or 8.2. The Integra's cover video input assignments.

Can I have the receiver player a dvd thru the component inputs while watching it on tv and at the same time play the composite signal from the dvd players composite video thru the denon's dvd composite jacks to the vcr? I am asked by my sister of father to record dvd's sometime for them to watch.

You can't record DVD's onto tape.

I can. I've did it several times. Without the darkening video effect from copyprotection. I've never had any problems with video tapes either. Except when I owned a Quasar vcr. But my RCA vcr's or RCA dvd player overrights copy protection somehow.
