    Hi

The kind Fedex driver just dropped off a AVR 8000 at my place [IMG]

I'll be using a Parasound 2205 amp which I previously had hooked up to my Yamaha DSP-A1. The Yamaha didn't have a 12 volt trigger so I used a 12 volt wall wart to turn on the amp. (I now want to use that same wall wart to power a cooling fan)

The Parasound can be hooked up on its' end with a couple of stripped leads, what size or type goes into the AVR 8000? It looks like a 1/8" mini jack but I don't know. Don't have any prior experience...

    Thanks!!!

1/8" minijack is correct. However, I believe it is supposed to be a mono connector.

    Thanks for the reply Scott.

You were right about it being mono, I did finally find more on the remote trigger by going on HK's website and downloading an amplifier pdf.

It specified using a 3.5 mm mono mini plug.

The next paragraph explained how to use a DC adapter if your receiver wasn't equipped with a trigger, quite informative!

    Thanks again.
