Does anyone know where I can get the AVIA disc. Is there any other one that is better? I would really like to calibriate my Projection and home theater.

You can get Avia from MCMinone.com part #80-6080, but you might find it cheaper somewhere else. Sometimes Avia's menu doesn't navigate correctly on some DVD players. You can still get where you need to go, but it's more trouble. The Sound & Vision test DVD is accurate, well laid out, and inexpensive- I think you can find it at Sound & Vision Magazine's website- but it doesn't have as many advanced patterns. I think it's only about $18 shipped, if I remember right.

Will this release be ideal for standard definition televisions? I'm just wondering if this new release is poised to become the #1 bang-for-the-buck choice for calibration discs, since I think the new disc Avia is coming out with is planned to cost several hundred dollars.
