I was afraid of this, I plugged the disc in, listened to the 40 minutes tutorial on home theater basics. Then got to the calibration part and was so confused on what I was supposed to do.

I have a Tosh 57H82 and I'm assuming that you use the TV remote to make all the adjustments. The Toshiba picture adjustments page takes up a lot of space.

This is my first DVD player so I am trying to get used to all the remote functions as well.

Any advice on what I should be doing? I also don't know how to hook my speakers up?????

    Thanks,
    Shana

First of make sure you have turned down the Picture/Contrast setting to 50% or max if you haven't done so yet. We want to avoid burn in. Then get used to your DVD player and TV's functions first then dive into the AVIA disc. What is it about your speakers you can't setup?
