I'm thinking of getting AVIA to calibrate my KV40XBR700. If I do, do I have to calibrate all 4 of the settings (movie, pro, standard, vivid) or is just one enough? Thanks.

You only need to calibrate the ones you're going to use.

In the old days, Sony Movie mode was always the one that could be calibrated for most accurate picture. I haven't worked with Pro mode but it might do as well or better based on the name alone. So do these two first and compare.

Dennis I concur. I had my 40xbr700 calibrated last week and it was set up to use "pro" with DVD and "movie" with DTV/HD. Both look fabulous.
