I pulled the trigger on the 50" Amazon bundle last week (TC-P50GT25, Avatar BD 3D exclusive, 2 pairs of rechargeable glasses, and DMP-BDT100 BD player) . Was going to wait for an afforadable 3D front projector, but this sounded like too sweet a deal to pass up. I was an early HD DVD adopter as well, so I hope that 3D isn't going to be another passing fad. But I suppose I can always find room for another extinct home video format in my "museum". At least this will play 2D fine, and the THX certification is nice.
