Is Pricegrabber an authorized Marantz dealer? How can I tell what sites are and are not?

Pricegrabber is not. Generally pricegrabber is just a best price finding solution and points you to another site to buy the product. 99.9% of those are unauthorized dealers.

To my knowledge the only 2 authorized web dealers for Marantz are:

    http://www.hifi.com
    http://www.ac4l.com

You won't likely get any discounts there and they stay strict to MSRP. The only "breaks" you get would be if you go b-stock or refurbished. AC4l.com sells the refurbs usually.

Check the Marantz site for dealers and also check the internet dealers to see if they advertise as authorized dealers. JR/6th Ave/OneCall/Oade and this forums sponsor are authorized dealers for everything they sell.

One thing I found strange is that the forum sponsor is seling older stuff for Marantz it looked. They all showed a 1 yr warranty where Marantz says it has a 3 yr. Something don't add up there.

if Oade is selling Marantz, they are awesome to deal with. First rate service.
