Anyone else see the northern lights last night?
They were huge, red, green, and white in 1/3 of the
sky here last night. (Very rare for Southern Maryland).

Well, I can check that off the list now.

I didn't, too bad.
Don't know if they would have been visible here or not. Used to see them frequently when I lived in ND. They're REALLY amazing from the air, get above the lower 1500 feet of haze and dust and it's much more spectacular.

It was cloudy here last night unfortunately. I've only seen the lights once, but that was from 40,000 ft over northern Canada! :)

Saw them here in Ohio. VERY rare here too. They were awsome.

I'm also in Ohio. I didn't believe my dad when he told me, but sure enough, I went outside and there was a big red splotch in the sky. I was thrilled.

Aurora is a fine actress. I particularly liked her in "Night Of The Shooting Star". I wonder if she has any new films coming out? :D

Too much light pollution here. (Damn it!) I couldn't have seen it even if I wanted to. :frowning:
