Can you hear that? It's like the buzzing of a thousand chainsaws. It must be.... the Swarm! :)
I see several on that list that must be had. And I've heard good things about that little art film, FLOTR or LOFTER or something like that. I think it has something to do with midgets.

August 6th will easily be my biggest spending day ever!
Lord of the Rings, The Simpsons Season 2, Hot Shots!, Star Trek 2, Clash of the Titans and Time After Time all belong in my living room. A few may have to wait a week or two, but I won't wait an extra millisecond for that Simpsons set!
Can't wait! :)

What is it with August? I remember August of 2000 being expensive (T2 came out). Was last August an expensive month?

As for me LOTR, Star Trek 2, Simpsons Season 2, and Sopranos season 3 are a must for me.

Starship Troopers SE

Legend UE

Traffic CC

Memento SE

And possible other objects:

Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone

Vanilla Sky

The Others

Ocean's Eleven

We are right along with everyone else here in the thread. We also have on out plate in the month the MGM Midnight Movies, the forthcoming Touchstone releases.....ouch!

Of course these don't even include the titles that we have yet to learn about from Paramount in September.

I have learned that DVD shopping for our house is like a tide. Two years ago it was a major high tide and tons of things that we wanted. Last year, very little interested us. This year...the tide is rolling back in.

Im undecided about LOTR and ST:WOK.

Simpsons Season 2 is a must.

Ill have to wait and see whats said about Wrath of Khan,to see whether the supplimentws are worth a repurchase.I believ only 3 minutes are being added to the Dir Cut.

Whats the difference between the Aug and Nov releases of LOTR?
