can anyone tell me what the dvd of "Audrey Rose" is like?

is it OAR? is it anamorphic? whats the print used like?

I can't find anything definate about this disc, everywhere from Imdb to Amazon etc seem to have conflicting information!

    cheers

I watched it a few months ago. The film is a bit grainy but the transfer is good and is widescreen (I'm assuming at OAR) and is 16x9 enhanced.

Well I got this disc today and it is 1.85:1 NON-ANAMORPHIC, the audio is the original mono. Looks "okay", sounds "okay". Was cheap, I'm not complaining!
Would have been nice to have it enhanced for 16x9 though, oh well at least it's OAR!

Sorry, before now I'd never seen a widescreen MGM dvd that wasn't 16x9 enchanced so I just assumed this one had to be since it was widescreen. I guess this must be one of MGM's early DVD releases.

In fact it was only released last August, which is why I was surprised by the non-anamorphic transfer!

    cheers
