Www.audiorevolution.com has published a list of all currently available DVD-Audio discs as well as a list of upcoming releases. The list of upcoming releases quotes release dates for some titles, while others are stated to have no determined release date yet. Here is the link:

I don't know how accurate the list really is. Four titles are listed as being available from Chesky. As far as I know, only Bucky Pizzarelli Swing Live and the sampler disc are available. The Christy Baron disc was available for a short time, but it is no longer in print. The album has since been released on SACD. I don't think Chuck Mangione Everything for Love was ever released on DVD-Audio. It is available on SACD.
There are a number of quality titles listed as upcoming releases. Hopefully they will surface.

KeithH,

That's helpful - are they working on the SACD list?

I check their site out and they seem to be somewhat biased against SACD. It seems to me that they should discuss and promote both formats until a clear winner emerges.

Be careful with the similar site soundstage.com...Their equipment reviews are also very biased to the site sponsors (I've been checking there off and on since like 1998) so be careful in placing too much credibility there.

Lee, the following statement appears at the bottom of the page I provided a link to:
A list of all available SACD titles coming soon.
Hope we will see such a list. I am on audiorevolution.com's mailing list, but I don't often visit the web site. I have seen more reviews of DVD-Audio discs than SACDs though. Frankly, most of the time I visit their web site, I do so to enter their giveaways. :D

Keith,
Both of these titles have been released as DVD-A's, both are still in print and both may be ordered at the Music Direct website.

Micahel, thanks for the info. I never heard about the Mangione album being released on DVD-Audio. As for the Christy Baron album, I had never seen it available from a US retailer, so I called Chesky a couple of months ago. They said it was no longer in print, but they had a few copies left, so I got one. Thanks again for the tip. I might grab the Mangione disc.

I can just picture some poor clerk sittling in the back stock room with these discs stacked everywhere. LOL

You are right that neither or these discs were released here in the US for some reason. One of the reasons I like Music Direct, is even when they don't have something on their website, if you email them, they go out of their way to get it for you.

Micahel, I have ordered music and cables from Music Direct a few times, and I too have always been impressed with their service.

As for the Baron DVD-Audio disc, I know you were joking, but I don't think Chesky is sitting on too many copies. I was told that a relatively limited number of discs were produced.

Keith, I'm sure you're correct about the Christy Baron title. That image just popped into my head this morning when I read your post. Gave me a good laugh to start the day.

I'm waiting to see if the new Bryan Ferry: Frantic DVD-A that was released in Germany last month makes it here on the 28th as was announced. I don't hold to much in the way of hope though as it didn't show up in the UK (It was announced for release there on Apr 29th). In any case rather than order from the German Amazon site, I plan on emailing Music Direct to see if they plan on getting it. Would save a few bucks on shipping.
