I cannot find the accurate size of the enclosure. Seems that everyone online has differnet dimensions. Anyone know for sure the exact measurements?

Oh yeah how does this woofer do on music?

    Thanks,

    S

I think a lot depends on the spks that you use and the blending process that is involved. I use mine stricky for HT. If I did use it for music, I'd tune it as high (blending with mains) as possible, and use it as a slight roll-off. Good luck!!

Since it is a 15" I am worried that it will look too big in my house like some big ugly box. Does it look that much bigger than most 12" subs? Because I will at least buy 12" sub, but if there is not that much actual visual difference between the two, I will go with the SW15.

Can this sub produce subtle bass? (baby)

    Thanks

The SW15 is big, It has a nice black wood grain type finish though. For the money, this is a very good sub. Produces powerful bass, and does fairly well in subtle bass. I did not like the sound of it with music. It won't compete with an SVS, but for the price it is excellent. I filled mine up with polyfill which took out much of the boominess that it comes with. Great sub for the money, but it isn't one that you can easily hide in a corner, it's big.

Im not sure of the dimensions but I have two. One was purchased from e-bay and is an older unit. The other was purchased from Amazon and is the latest. Th older unit is LARGER!

Sebastian, Phil Iturralde wrote a great review of his new SVS 25-31 PCi comparing it to his AudioSource SW-15 here.
Also, he has pictures of the two here.
I'm sure you'll find everything you ever wanted to know about the AudioSource SW-15 at Phil's website, and then some! [IMG]
