Audio Mixing Software? (1 Viewer)

Hi, do any of you know any good audio mixing software for the ameteur recording artist? I got a couple friends who wanna get their CD recorded, and i wanna do it semi-professionally, how they do one track at a time and then put it all together...

I got the demo of SoundForge, but its not what i really wanted (it just allows you to alter the audio file, rather than mixing them).
