Is it a hassle DIY audio interconnects? With the outrageous prices of it nowadays, I don't know if I should grab it. If not what tools and materials do I need to buy and where to buy? I consulted "the shack" and they have rca ends but they don't carry the cables for it. Does Home Depot carry this cables? Another thing I bought a crimping tool before when I added TV outlets but I'm not sure if that will do for rca plugs? I'm located here in the "city of angels". Thanks.

Chris White's Website is a good source.

You might also email some of the custom cable sites. If you ask nice (and promise to not bug them for help) they may sell you coax and connectors for your own DIY project.
