I dont know with which to hook up my system

I know I have to hook my videogames with Optical
but when it comes to my DVD player and TV, should I co Optical or Coax???

Doesn’t matter – your choice, or whichever is on both the receiver and DVD player.

none. what does happen is that often the levels going to the speakers are different and typically, the louder is perceived as 'better'.

Some people claim coaxial sounds better, but I've noticed that they all have mega-kilobuck systems. For the rest of us it won’t matter.

Maybe the kilo-buck systems aren't designed well in some regards making them overly sensitive to normal variations and configurations
