** Edit - I found the documentation for the system, it's up on my web server. Thought that might be of interest since the Audax link is broken **
The Audax Home Theater Kits designed by Joe D'Appolito - cabinets built of mdf with double thickness front baffles, flush mounted drivers, scalloped driver openings, t-nuts used throughout. These were Madisound kits and came with their crossovers with Solen Caps, wired with silver wire soldered and heat-shrinked at speaker terminals. Veneered in Honduran Mahogany on all sides, with 1.25" roundover on front vertical edges on all cabs. Stands built to match footprint of LR speakers are sand-filled and have hidden wiring channel in them. Kits with comparable cabinets are $1851 at Zalytron - $1000 takes the system. With a full price offer I will also include a pair of sealed woofers, tweeters, and the crossover components to build another set of surrounds.
