Future Shop (owned by BB of the USA) has marked them down to $80 CDN.

Available online (www futureshop ca) or in any of their retail outlets.

    Not bad, eh?

Apparently not. Just checked the website and it says they're sold out of the gamecubes.

Yep.. but plenty instore, and it still applies.. I was going to buy one, but decided not to afterwards.. not enough software that I REALLY want to play. Which sucks.. makes me wish I had a bit of moolah to blow.

Picked up one today at a cost of $120 Canadian minus an upcoming $40 mailin rebate.

Nice deal and now I can play Metroid Prime, and the Zelda collections I scooped of ebay for little $$$.

I just checked and it appears that they've now withdrawn the $20 instant discount from their website (i.e., in addition to their continuing $40 mail-in rebate offer).

You guys may still want to check in-store about this:

I was surfing the Future Shop website around noon - just after I heard about the deal. There it was, $20 more off the purchase price bringing it down to a cool $80 after the mail-in rebate. I checked again about 20 minutes later and then $20 instant discount was gone!

I called the nearest location to me and asked the employee to confirm the price there. He said that it still showed in the computer with the $20 discount. It's weird that it disappeared from the website. It said the discount would run until 10/23 (although the rebate ends today).

I ASKED AT THE FUTURE SHOP BY METROTOWN. THEY JUST LAUGHED AT ME.

THEY SAID THE CHEAPEST THEY HAD IT WAS AT $139.00 AND THAT WAS ONE OF THEIR HUGE SALES.
