Has anyone read the Atticus Kodiak novels? I've been reading them and love them. I started with Critical Space, then ordered the rest from the net. But I kinda screwed up the order and read Finder followed by Smoker. I plan on reading Shooting at Midnight over the weekend and then Keeper sometime next week.

For anyone who hasn't read any of the Rucka books, it's about a bodyguard protecting his principal. It may not sound like much, but there are plenty of twists to keep you entertained.

So basically, after that, I'll be looking for new books to read. I've already read Rucka's Fistful of Rain. And although I didn't enjoy it as much as his Kodiak novels, it was good, nevertheless.

Can anyone recommend something similar?

You might want to track down Rucka's comic book work. He's currently writing Adventures of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Queen & Country (which has a spinoff novel coming out this fall); he also had a pretty good run on Detective Comics and his two "Whiteout" series at Oni are pretty good.
