Some of us dearly enjoy "short, b/w, low-grade movies." I watch them frequently...they offer much nostalgia, tapping into our childhood memories. Don't even try to take that away from us old geezers! And, as presented by WAC, they are no longer low-grade...they look like they were made ten years ago. And, although short, this one adds a commentary track, which even some of the three-hour-long+ Blu-rays do not.

Finally, as to the second part of your comment...have you seen the WAC announcements of today?
Agree 100%. I am hoping for more of these next year. More AIP titles and some more from the Wade Williams collection.

More from the Wade Williams collection? There have been disputes regarding whether or not WW actually "owns" the rights to a number of the films he claims to. Yes, WAC has released BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS, and other companies have given us Blu-rays of THE WASP WOMAN, MISSILE TO THE MOON, PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE and MONSTER FROM GREEN HELL. But I'll bet some of these are actually public domain, and Wade had little or nothing to do with their HD releases. Even ROBOT MONSTER, still apparently coming, is questionable, and Mr. Furmanek is mum about any participation from him, perhaps because of the long-standing dispute they had years ago on this forum about allowing others to license from him.

I'd take WW's legal ownership of damn near any film from the 50's-60's with a huge grain of salt.

Well.....whether or not he actually owns the rights to these, I think we can be in agreement that more of those titles that were on DVD would be nice on blu. The important thing is getting more of these titles out. That was my point.

Right. Film Detective has done a nice job with some other titles of this particular genre the past year or so. Kino has chipped in as well.

Just viewed in my HT and it was very nice. I A&Bed with the DVD, sure there is a difference in clarity but if you don't have the extra bucks, the DVD would suffice, it's that good.

These are the kind of movies we pre-dating guys used to gather together and watch on Saturday night. They played in a Detroit station on the "Sir Grave Ghastly Show" with a host dressed as a vampire.
Even then we spent most of the movie mocking and laughing at it.

These were why we love these ugly ducklings so much. Beacuse they were done straight for drama, but yielded to camp and farce, as time went by. And the connection to our midnight movies/dirve-in connections still burn brightly in our hearts, it's for thse reasons that we collect these wonderful albatrosses, Go love 'em!!

Sure you should be giving her ideas?

It's a bad movie for sure, but I'll definitely pick up a copy, eventually. I love me some atomic-age cheese. Still hoping to get Cat Women on the Moon in 3D eventually.
Cat women is another film classic!!

I have seem this movie so many times, yet, this newremastered edition is miraculous!! It was well worth the wait!! And the commentary with Yvette Vickers and Tom Weaver (one of my favorite commentators of this genre) was a true joy!! My personal Kudos and Thanks to Mr F and his wonder team for this little gem!!!
