    Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting, but I've been reading this board for while. Anyway, I have about $400 (plus some for cables and stuff) to spend on a powered sub (my first!), and I'm trying to figure out what to get. The rest of my system is Athena, so I'm leaning towards the AS-P400, but I've read some impressive reviews of the 10" Dayton, and for the price, I could get two. What do you think? Athena, Dayton, or something else? Thanks for your help.

With $400 to spend I'd look at Adire Audio Rava subwoofer. If you don't go with that then I'd try out the Dayton sub or maybe two of them.
