Would you mean the Athena F2 by any chance?

Have 'em, love 'em, do a search on the forum. Lots of positive comments.

The S-series was the first products from Athena Technolgies. There were the S1, S2, and the S3 bookshelf speakers. Each of these speakers can be attached to powered sub sections, the P-series subwoofer, to form "powered tower" speakers. The subs can be used on their own though.

I believe both the S2/P2 and the S3/P3 combos were, at one time, on Stereophile's Recommended Components List. The current S.5 mini-speaker is just a miniturized version of the now-discontinued S-series bookshelf speakers.

    Here're a sampling of reviews....

Ok thanks alot for the reply. If i were to get my hands on some S2's for mains, do you think they would match well with the .5's as surrounds?

I don't think matching will be that big of a problem since they both use the same 1" Teteron tweeter.

Be aware that Athena just announced a new Audition series at the recent CES in Las Vegas.
