I was listening to the Athenas again a few days ago, but what I noticed this time was that the center channel sounded rather bright...the voices sounded a little (off?), but sounded remarkably better when I switched to the Infinity Alpha center channel...

I know that there have been other posts about the Athena center channel being sub par on this forum, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what to use as an alternate center channel?

Any particular reason? Would the Infinity timbre match well with the Athenas?

(I'm actually still waiting on the Infinity Primus line to come out of boxes and be setup before I buy the Athenas anyways...)

Thought you already had paired the Athenas with the Infinity center and deducted the Infinitys were better. So I was recommending the obviuos.

If you haven't, don't buy anything until you have had the time to mix and match. Maybe an all Infinity set-up is more logical - audition first!

    Good luck,
