Is there any reason why Boy on a Dolphin has been passed over for the blu-ray treatment? Three generations of young men have had that Sophia Loren poster hung on their dorm walls, so I'd certainly imagine that the BD would sell quite briskly. Just wondering if the elements are in such bad shape that this would not be a possibility. I'm certainly not the only one curious about the fate of this beloved movie.

I second asking about the status of The Abyss on Blu-ray and/or UHD. Could you please expand the query to include the other Lightstorm titles that are MIA on Blu-ray: True Lies and Strange Days?

Your Cleopatra (1963) Blu-ray looked gorgeous but many fans were disappointed that it didn't include the few deleted scenes that have turned up (namely Cleopatra divining the future, pictured below), some Pinewood footage and costume tests that are glimpsed in the documentary Cleopatra: The Film That Changed Hollywood.

Is there any chance you will include this footage on a future re-release?

Yup, I'm looking for any updates on THE ABYSS and/or TRUE LIES too.

Q: What is the status of The Abyss, True Lies and Strange Days on Blu-ray and/or UHD.

A: Jim Cameron is very involved, careful and engaged on how the films should look. He wants his versions to be definitive so he never has to revisit them again. Fox is VERY ready for him, but the Director is very busy with Avatar at the moment.



Q: Can Can, Star, Doctor Dolittle?

A: While we have the ability do to it, we should scan it. The negative on Can Can has differential fading going on. Looks very drab. A restoration was done long ago. It is the studio's hope to eventually release it.
