Just bought the above project in the UK.
Have no idea how to get the best picture out of it by adjusting the colors etc. Can anybody advise me of a good set up - ideally to get better blacks.
As its the UK, no HD [IMG] just the lowest image quality available. DVD is going in via S-video - xbox via component.
Just found out the UK x-box doesn't have a HD mode either....
    Any help appreciated.

Have you tried looking through the posts at www.avsforum.com? You can probably get most of your questions answered in depth over there- the AE100 is one of the most popular topics on that board, and there are a LOT of owners over there.
    Cheers

Yep - I have, but they seem almost TOO technical!!!

    All I want to know:

Best mode to have it on (ie Dynamic/normal etc)

    Brightness/Colour/tint levels etc.

    Attempts at improving black levels....

I have no progresive inputs - most of the forum seems to be leaning that way - but in the UK, nobody evens knows what progresive scan is....

    Oh well,

    Back to the drawing board.
