Who in this thread are waiting for the Intermission [Intervallo/Intermezzo] Titles to be restored to the film? [via seamless branching at UHD Disc 2] (originally present at the Italian Premiere, located after Blondie Splashes coffee on Tuco's face in a mission)

Protip: Try fetching up the Quartet Records 2-CD release and look at Disc 2, Track 17 where it says "Intermezzo Musicale"

P.S. I think you'll be needing to be filled in with this other unique deleted scene (in case you folks are already aware of the Deleted Soccoro Scene)

If MGM hasn't rediscovered this scene with Footage or Audio (Italian or English), please do present stills (or more still where that came from) or excerpts script on the Arrow Video UHD.

Well it took 4 years to get new UHD release of TGTBATU, that is a bit longer than a few weeks. With TGTBATU we have the added issue that the underlying master for the two UHD releases has been prepared by Kino and Arrow themselves and I am not sure they are willing and/or required to let other licensees have it. A likely upcoming release may be an Arrow boxset once the single releases have sold out but I decided to not wait for that.

I would assume it’s just mgms unwillingness to spend $ to do them right.

The liner notes on Arrow’s Fistful of Dollars 4K indicate they referenced an IB Technicolor print and having watched this disc a couple of nights ago I highly recommend getting your hands on this release. I think it looks beautiful.

Well it took 4 years to get new UHD release of TGTBATU, that is a bit longer than a few weeks.

It's also the first UHD release of the movie in the UK, so it's technically the first domestic release of the movie on this format.

The liner notes on Arrow’s Fistful of Dollars 4K indicate they referenced an IB Technicolor print and having watched this disc a couple of nights ago I highly recommend getting your hands on this release. I think it looks beautiful.

There's no new scan though (not that any of these press releases promised one).

Does this particularly mean Arrow Video wants to make sure they make it the fanciest UHD before releasing it on the market on that date?

What if they Included the Intermission (previously found in the Italian Premiere Version, which occured after Blondie splashes coffee on Tuco's face) or a deleted scene called "Angel Eyes Explains Himself" * that no one seem to be talking about other than the deleted Soccoro scene fx.

* If no film footage or audio is found so far, then we are left with excerpts from script and stills taken from this scene.

Also, can you imagine what would happen if Arrow Video did an Isolated Score? (focusing on the "Composer's Original Score") don't you think that would make Jon Burlingame smiling?

It's only a few weeks delay. To ensure a August release date, they'll need to have discs finalised at least by early July, which is only a few weeks ahead. It's unlikely they'll add anything between now and then, and it might very well just be a pipeline issue with any of the manufacturing plants involved in these releases.

Crap. I ordered all three Dollars films together, which means I won't get any of them until TGTBATU is released, since they don't ship separately from the retailer I purchased from. Oh well, it's not like I haven't seen these films a few dozen times.

Depends on where you ordered. I ordered all three together from Arrow (+ Cruising), and they shipped them one after the other, as they became available. I'm now only waiting for TGTBTU.

Of course. I would have been charged for shipping on each of the three titles if I'd ordered that way. My frugality in going for free shipping by purchasing all of them in a single order is coming back to bite me in the ass. I'll live.

Which makes sense - until they delay the last movie by two months

Funny enough while waiting I decided to re-watch the second movie even though I had only watched it recently so it would have been nice to be able to do this right now but now everything gets pushed back.

I still have to say that looking at feedback from people who got the first two movies it seems that Arrow did a good job improving on the Kino releases that are pretty good already and if they keep up the quality for TGTBATU I will be very happy as I did not like that one at all in its Kino version.
