So? I want to hear Clint’s voice. The same with Connery’s voice. I don’t like dubbed voices for the lead actor. You’re fine with it, I’m not. It’s one of the reasons why I don’t like The Leopard as much as some other people. We all have preferences.
No, not disagreeing, agree I want to hear the original actor's voices, but because these films were so popular across the world, they went out of their way to get good strong voices for the two characters. I have always found this fascinating.

I've never owned it on home video. Not really a fan of dubbed westerns but did watch the trilogy on Prime a couple of weeks ago (GBU too long!), it was somewhat better than I remembered (probably due to a good presentation). Looks like Arrow is the one to buy.

What’s the verdict without having to read that entire article?
Apart from the dubbing, only the titles - so nothing of significance!

Interestingly, Arrow Video have performed their own digital clean-up/restoration of the master. The article demonstrates an example of a removal of a "hair-in-the-gate", compared to the Kino Lorber 4K UHD.

The best part of this new release of A Fistful of Dollars for me was the 36 minutes of raw outtake footage. Just mind-blowing to see that the production company managed to keep 6 of the original 8 hours of camera negative in good condition since 1964.

I hope Arrow's releases of For a Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly have similar packages of outtakes.

Seems not. There was some behind the scenes on the documentary Sergio Leone the Italian who invented America. I think it was on Sky two years ago. It showed some scenes at the prison camp and Langstone bridge.

The 4K For A Few Dollars More is a winner, slightly darker, but incredible! Mr. Leone?, a feast for my eyes.

"Seems not?" That doesn't sound like a confirmation, just supposition.
Ok, I should have added apart from some behind the scenes footage on the documentary 'Sergio Leone the Italian who Invented America'. I think it was on Sky two years ago. It showed some scenes at the prison camp and Langstone bridge. I've no idea if Arrow tried to source this. It would have been nice to have had it on their release.

The 5.1 soundtrack is greatly improved, compared to the mix on the Kino Lorber. On the Kino Dollars Trilogy, the music was so thin and harsh, I much preferred the mono tracks on all three films. I started just doing an A/B comparison with the Kino Lorber version last night, but ended up seeing the whole Arrow Video film, as I was enjoying watching it again!

I must say, Arrow Video have really gone out of their way to make a superb package for this first instalment. The level of detail is simply incredible - starting by listing all the uncredited actors and technicians in the booklet! I really enjoyed the supplements too - particularly the Marianne Koch and Christopher Grayling interviews. And they've massaged the video master with the best in the business.
