    Gone.

    All gone.

I weep for those who must forevermore suffer from boring hotdogs.

It says there are 23 replies, but I don't see them. Cheez-Wiz and a syringe will spice up that boredom and fun too.

That does not suffice for the truly jaded. Only Cthulhu-dogs can save us. But alas, the database problem (hmmm...I smell a conspiracy!) has wiped out the answer. No doubt there will be dire consequences for humanity.

Julie, didja work on that Mars probe launch? It seems that you started posting right after the first launch, so I'm thinking it is a strange coincidence.

Perhaps seeing that launch made you crave rocket-shaped hot dogs, but at the same time you were tragically bored with the shape (a shaft of light in the dark can be tiring when peering at the universe while clutching the arms of the Old One), so you stumbled upon the octodog vision while inadvertantly communicating your dog fetish to the Great Calamari. "He" compelled you to use the all-seeing Google device to discover the secrets of this kitchen artifact.

Or maybe you were just bored out of your (limited) mind.

This thread is a singularity that should be archived.

Boredom is the last thing I'm dealing with now - lack of sleep, long hours, no weekends are more the norm. I'm not complaining though, as I love an Opportunity to work with Spirit. (Ok, I'm finding stupid puns and stuff to be extremely hilarious - sure sign of lack of rest.)

Anyway, I just found the OctoDog link on a newsgroup. I doubt even I could construct a weird enough google search to find that.

hmmm, it seems that some poor soul (bored housewife? estranged Internet widow?) discovered the Octodog 6 days ago:

    http://www.asmallvictory.net/archives/003745.html

Of course, not a single comment mentions Cthulhu. This is what happens when you expose the Octodog to the clueless internet masses!

Julie, sounds like you're having a grand old time! If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were working programmer hours! But you're not a programmer, right? Just some button-pushing NASA/industrial military complex/aerospace/vending machine operator?

I hope you get stock options. Not that they'd be worth anything in this climate, but I'm sure when the Great One awakens the P/E ratio would be killer!

I'm going back to my deathbed.

In e-mailing the admins about the database issue, Parker said he noticed strange lights in the sky over his house. And, for the life of him, he cannot remember where he was or what happened for about two hours. He also mentioned something about little "scoop marks" above his left knee.

What to do in such a situation? The obvious: Go see a hypnotherapist, like everybody else.

I stumbled across it on one of my usual google searches. Just search on:

choking children "how did I ever live without it?"

and it will bring up the octodog!

Oh, if you guys saw the Japanese hotdog pictures, my favorite is the alligator, followed by the cute little elephants and the tulips.

[driving by... slows down] Whoa! What happened here? Anybody need help?
Julie I thought this thread was a metaphor for something else. I must have missed a chunk of the narrative. Anyway I like hotdogs, but don't eat them often enough to reach boredom threshold. My girl is a regular hotdog eater but thats another story for another thread, btw I like plenty of ketchup spread over mine.[drives off... wheels screeching]

Oh my deity...the twin evils! Hotdogs and Twinkies! A combo not unlike the hell-spawn called Pogos.
