I am going to put these pretty close to an RPTV so I need to confirm that they are shielded. Any info from Totem owners and how important is shielding anyway?

    Thanks,
    Dean

I don't think they are shielded. My Totem mite T center channel isn't shielded and it's made for HT.

Dean, I own a pair of the Totem Arro, and I don't believe this speaker is shielded either. Also, there is no mention of shielding on Totem's web site:

Despite the lack of shielding, the Arro is an incredible speaker for the money. Have you heard them yet? I suggest you try hard to find a way to fit them in your room. [IMG]

I have never heard of an unshielded center channel speaker. This is so weird.

I have heard the Arros on a couple of occasions over the past couple of years and they always amaze me so I have decided to get my own now (provided that they won't screw up my video).

    Thanks!
    Dean

Dean, no problem. Let us know how the Arro works out for you.
