Is there any word of a 3rd season of "Hard Knocks - NFL Training Camp"? I loved the first two (Ravens, Cowboys) but I can't find any news of a 3rd season....

Unfortunately there are no plans to do another season. I was recently out with a friend who works at NFL films and had the chance to talk with the producer of Hard Knocks and he said they are not doing a third season.

Was there a reason why there won't be a 3rd season? I thought the show had done well in the rating the previous 2 years? Too bad, its a really good show. Watching some of the new guys make the team, it gave me something extra to look for on Sundays.

I had read that they could not get a team or head coach to agree. I beleive they wanted Gruden and the Bucs, but he wanted nothing to do with these guys. HBO said they would revisit again in 2004 to see if they can bring it back then.
