Are any of the MGM and WB silent films on DVD in other regions?

    Patrick,
They may not be either MGM or Warners, but I have talked at length about some interesting Silents/Early Talkies films (currently available or in production on Region 2 DVD in the U.K) here:

I think you may find them interesting just the same. By the way, I love your signature. Did you know that Image Entertainment are preparing two more Lon Chaney double-features on DVD? One is NOMADS OF THE NORTH (1920)/THE SHOCK (1923) to be released on 7/30, but I have no information about the other one. I have never seen either but the latter sounds promising. You may care to read my thoughts on this great silent film icon’s DVD releases here:

I know that at least "Ben-Hur" and "The Cameraman" have been released in region 2 Japan. "Ben-Hur" I held in my hand but did not buy, so I don't know about the quality of the releases.
I think there is a www.amazon.jp that lists some of these titles...
