are harmon kardon speakers any good? (1 Viewer)

i have a chance to get these speakers from my friend,are they any good,are they low end, middle,high end speakers.
he does not have them hooked up so i have not heard them.

he says they are great with alot of bass,and the highs are good as well.
thanks for any info on these,i just want to know if i should buy them

I think it depends upon your application. If you're using them for theater purposes only, in a small/medium sized room, then you can probably get away with these. Other than that, I think you can make a better investment. I had a chance to hear these at a friend's home; they're awful for music.

I'm no fan of these pre-packaged sub/satellite systems, but I'm certain you can find a better one, depending upon what you're willing to spend.
