    Hey all,

As the topic states I am curious if the B&W VM-1 Lesuire
    Monitors are good satelites.

A friend (work colleague) of mine just went out and delved
into HT and bought a Pio Elite RPTV 5 of the VM-1's a
Yammie Reciever a Pio Progressive Scan DVD and some other
stuff. He went to a local hi fi shop and they said for his
budget this was a very good setup. I imagine it should sound
pretty good I don't think B&W makes any "bad" speakers and
he went with a good Reciever and a great TV... Now all he
    needs is a sub.... [IMG]

He went from nothing, to this... He had no setup before this..

I haven't talked to him since they came in and set everything
up and calibrated the TV and the sound levels.. I have to
find out what he thinks (bet he is blown away!) [IMG]

I'm using a pair in combination with their smallest sub (AS-1, I think) for my bedroom stereo. I'm very pleased with the look and sound of them.

edit: I thought I'd read "LM 1s", which are what I have. My guess is that the VM 1s are as good or better.
