Over the past couple of years, I have purchased and assembled 4 arcade machines from Arcade 1up. Star Wars, pac Man, Ms. pac man and joust legacy. I also bought Tempest which is still in the box because I have no room at the moment. I’ve enjoyed playing them all.
But Arcade 1 up as a company seems to be in serious trouble. For one thing, they’re in huge debt. Secondly they have lost several key licenses and are being sued by Atari for allegedly not paying royalties that were agreed to.
LastLu competition has arrived, companies like basic Fun, iconic Arcade(owned by Lenovo) New Wave toys etc are coming into home arcade. I’m looking forward to seeing some different releases. Double dragon and spy hunter are 2 that come to mind. Also sega had the Star Trek game in the 80s and Turbo. Pole position also
