ARC LS2 Mk II Preamp (1 Viewer)

What do you guys think of the ARC LS2 MK 2 tube preamp? How does it sound and will it be able to drive a 10K sensitivity solid state Amp?

Any advise?

I know Mike Decock an HTF member owns that preamp, you may want to try and get in touch with him. Although I have heard from or seen him since January.

And of course, a lot more experience with it can be found on it with the Audio Asylum search engine.

Well Brett not yet. I just saw one on sale at Audiogon for 799 and since the seller is only 20 mins from where I live I thought it might be worth a look. That brings me to my next question, is $799 a good price for this preamp?

How old is this preamp Yogi? I have heard the LS16 and thought it was very neutral and had great build quality. I think ARC preamps have a output impedance of less than 1k so it should match with your Proceed amp.
