April issue of EDGE, problems of distribution? (1 Viewer)

Two days ago I received the May issue, and yesterday I receeived a letter from Future Publishing, explaining and apologizing for the fact that they could not secure me (a subscriber) a copy of the April issue, due to some printer shortfall.

Was this issue hard to find in stores? I find it amazing that subscribers wouldn't be given priority over issues that go to newsstands?!?

Any insights?

There was a post about it from Ste on the Edge forum - apparently the company in charge of mailing out copies to subscribers messed up bigtime & got a bollocking from Future over it.

Christian, just found out that for readers that received that letter, they're sending out issue 109 & an Edge t-shirt to say sorry. Not sure if that's for international readers though.

Hm, interesting info, but issue 109 is exactly the one they said they couldn't secure me (and others) a copy of. I guess I'll find out at some point.

The letter was sent out in error, Christian. I suggest you run by the Edge forum, do a search in the "Feedback & Suggestions" board.
