I know there has been a lot of G4TV bashing here on HTF, and I know I've taken part of it, but I've got to give props where they are due. I've gotten hooked on their show "Icons," a show that gives appreciation for, and information on, the history of games and the people who create them. I've seen specials on Donkey Kong as a character, the composer of the Final Fantasy music, and a host of others.

Now let's take a cue and make more mature programming like this. I don't mean shows for adults, just shows that don't pander to the teenage dollar. I'd be happy to watch more shows like this!

Yep, that's the only original G4 show I like. I've seen the ones on the Dreamcast/SEGA, Yuji Naka (Sonic Team creator), Unreal (although quite a bit dated, said 2k3 was "just around the corner"), Music in games, and Game Boy.

I enjoyed the show about the great video game crash in the 80's. Very Interesting. Main reason tolerable? No host. [IMG]
