Just a quick follow up but we decided to finally give Ted Lasso a try and honestly, I think it's one of the best shows on TV currently. I am utterly surprised at just how much both my wife and I love it. The writing and acting on this show are absolutely top notch. I agree with all of the statements above about the show. They are all 100% true.

I am not a sports fan at all and this is definitely a must watch.

The first season is flawless. I am not liking the second season as much. It’s still very good, but it seems some of the charm is gone. Still, it remains the best show on TV.

PS: The above opinion is not shared by all. I have gotten pushback by saying S2 is not as good as S1

I agree with Ron. I'm not a sports fan and I'm not really a fan of Jason Sudakis (sp?). But the first season was AMAZING. Funny, heartfelt and never smarmy or "obvious". Season 2 is up and down, but still damn good TV.
