Thanks. After posting my question, I thought it was probably storage and not RAM. For someone like me who only uses a few apps, I would assume the 32GB version would be sufficient. The 64GB isn't RAM, it's solid state storage. If you download a movie rather than streaming it for example, it would go there. Both the 32GB and 64GB Apple TV have 3GB of RAM.
For only $20 more I decided to double it to 64.Thanks. After posting my question, I thought it was probably storage and not RAM. For someone like me who only uses a few apps, I would assume the 32GB version would be sufficient.
I will wait until the Amazon app is available and also to see how stable the product is before buying one. So far, it seems like every 4K device that hits the market has some bugs upon release.
If it was a tablet or phone, I would definitely go for the larger storage at that price difference. For a streaming box where I will only need three or four apps, in my case it would probably just be wasting 20 bucks. For only $20 more I decided to double it to 64.
Same time frame! What dates did you get? Mine was 10/6 to 10/12 delivery.
Great. You can be a beta tester for some of us!I ordered my new unit today with the 64 GB.
I wonder if it will be quickly selling out at Apple Stores on/after 9/22.What dates did you get? Mine was 10/6 to 10/12 delivery.
