Apple will not get the TEXTURE app until July. Maybe I will install it on my old Android tablet.

Oh. Didn't even look at the date on the Post story. It was referenced in your article.

Great. For $10 a month I will probably go for it. I rarely read magazines anymore because the Internet basically killed them. Still, I suppose I can find some great stuff within a 200 magazine selection.

I've been using it for about a week now, and I'm really enjoying it. Seems well designed with a good selection of magazines. Sure-there are things I wish it had (and it would be nice if there was a way to request magazines/show interest in certain magazines as feedback to advise Texture's future acquisition plans), but it seems worth the 10 a month.

I’ve been hearing Texture ads on podcasts for a couple years. It’s interesting seeing how news of Apple’s purchase suddenly brought them to greater visibility.

Its a neat thing but I don't think I will use it that often. I may shut off my sub if it doesn't get rolled into Music or something.

Texture is owned by Apple. However, Apple News has all the magazines Texture has plus MUCH MORE

Why didn't Apple just fold Texture and/or move their subscribers over to the new service?

Not sure where you are getting that price - out of curiosity I went to the website and checked the New Yorker: https://www.magzter.com/US/Condé-Nast/The-New-Yorker/Culture/
I don't see how those prices fit into the $10 per month
