Circuit City has a 27" Apex set for $199. I'm looking for a decent set with Svideo inputs for using with a Playstation 2, this seems like a good choice. There's no stereo input on these sets but I'd be running audio thru a receiver from the PS2 anyhow. Anyone know how these sets look picture wise or hold up durability wise?

The image I saw on the Apex's looked very good compared to other sets selling for much more. The only thing I might worry about would be quality. Since they're new there's no data to draw on.

This is an older thread, but just in case anyone else was wondering...
I took the plunge and purcahsed this set this June. So far so good. The colors are really nice after calibrating with Video Essentials, red is slightly pushed. Has 4 video inputs which is nice, but last input is not default on power up. Display settings are kept in memory, though. Has the infamous mono sound output but since its running through my receiver, no problem. only disappointment so far is I haven't been able to find remote codes for the Rat Shack 15-1994, but this is not the tv's fault [IMG] Fingers crossed, but happy to this point.
