Small, bright room; listening levels are low to moderate; 90% music use; latin dance music, classical, jazz, easy listening.

Aperion 5.1 system (10" sub) or Rocket ELS? Why? The reciever will almost certainly be an Onkyo 601.

    Thanks.

BTW, anyone know if it's possible to get the Rocket ELS with two 2.1's replacing two of the LRS satelites?

This will be one of preferences. But I can tell you the Aperion sub outclasses the the ELT sub.

There is also a pretty big price difference in the two systems. If you went with the ELT, I would definitely upgrade the sub.

I second what Curtis says. For 90% music, I'd look at Ascend monitors and the Aperion sub. Aperion will still give you the same pricing and same shipping.

I assume you mean ELT, not ELS.

For a primary music system, I would look at alternatives to the ELTs.

For primarly music I would look at the Rocket RS150's as they have been getting some very good reviews by their owners. You could call the guys at www.av123.com and see if they can put together a package for you that would fit your needs...[IMG]

    Let me add this alternative:

The Acoustic Energy Aespirit 300c is being sold on eBay right now for $200/pr.

I heard these in my own home.....incredible for the price! And they look good too!

Either the Ascends or the Rocket 150s would get a vote from me. If the Ascends are out on looks/size the 150s would be a good prime music choice.
