I set a transponder in my directv sat setup, and the signal is good, mid 90's. Then I exit out and go right back in and it is on a different transponder with really low signal. Is there anyway to make it stay where it is?

The channels you receive are spread out over many different transponders so there is no way to change them. When you change the number in the signal strength meter, you are really just viewing what your dish is pulling in for those particular channels. Keep in mind, 70% looks the same as 100% because it is a digital signal. Don't worry about anything unless your picture is breaking up. Some transponders will be really low and some will show nothing at all. These are either not in use or are not meant for your market.
