anything in the Denon 1803 pricerange with onscreen video? (1 Viewer)

ok - i'm nearly sold on the Denon AVR-1803, but does anyone know of a receiver with as good of "quality" (not THAT'S a relative term!) with onscreen video

not a HUGE factor, but my buddy's Denon 3803 (with onscreen) has me wishing

not to burst your bubble but I just went through the same thing when I bought my 1603. I had an old AVR 2600 that had on screen programming. I could find NOTHING in the 1803 price range of coperable quality that has on screen. You probably will need to spend more $$$or go used.

I surprisingly don't miss it all all. Most stuff is set and forget anyway. I'll take more power and features for the $ over onscreen anyday.

Check out the Harman Kardon 225. It's about the same price as the 1803 and has on-screen display. I'm thinking about picking one up soon once I do a little more research.
