I am going to wait for the next-gen Sammy DLP's to drop come June and was considering an ISF cal on the new set. Has anyone in this forum had their Sammy DLP calibrated by an ISF tech? I talked with the local ISF guy and he is very knowledgable and helpful. I know that there are several things that a CRT based RPTV has that can be tweaked, but was wondering what the "tweakability" and overall gain is that can be received from a DLP set. Thanks!

hi

sammy products are all over the place when it comes to colorimetry and color saturation. This can be tamed / corrected via a calibration.

Gregg,

Are the Samsung DLP's the same way as say their traditional CRT TV's as far as tweakeables go?
