If so appreciate your comments pro and con, is it true only main A speaker has binding posts, and rest spring clips. Early reply appreciated. Thanks.

Find it hard to believe with a membership of 63K
Plus no one knows what type of speaker terminals the SA-XR70s has.

main speakers A and B have binding posts the others are spring clips

you can download the manual on the Panasonic website

This is an old model as far as the XR series goes, its only 6.1 and has a minimum xover freq of 100Hz.

The newer XR55 model has 7.1, binding posts on all channels and a lowest xover of 80Hz, but no HDMI.

the latest model SA-XR57 is the XR55 with HDMI 1.2a.
