Anyone try to plant a Joshua Tree? (1 Viewer)

My parents just got back from Arizona, and brought me a little set of seeds to plant. Although, I was reading the instructions, and they say it's best to plant it when it's 80 to 90 degrees out, and it can get up to 6 feet tall.

Is this a tree that can survive northeast temperatures once it's grown?

I tried once, but it didn't take. This year I think I'll try an Achtung Baby.

Sometimes, given perfect conditions, you can grow things where you shouldn't be able but good luck with it.

Note the part about the, "...very unpleasant odor..." from the flowers.
