Anyone try the Monster S-video cable for Xbox?

    No, I don't want to start another cable rumble, I just want to know if anyone has tried this thing, and if so, did you see an improvement from standard S-video cables?

    I think it would at least be nice to get rid of the clunky Microsoft version. The Monster is much more streamlined, but is it worth forty bucks?

    Well, I have the Component cables for X-Box and they are a big improvement. Here's my main rub. The damn Advanced AV pack is not shielded and is therefore open to interference. I like the Monster, but you have to decide if it is worth it for you.

    Jeremy--thanks for responding! Have you actually seen interference due to the unshielded cable?

    I had the Monster S-video cables and I loved them. I now use the Monster component cables since I upgraded to a 36" Sony Wega XBR.
