Anyone tried the cheapo DVI cables available on ebay? (1 Viewer)

I am looking to connect my Hitachi 57" RPTV to my DirecTV HD box. Right now I am using component cables. The TV is the 57f500 and the box is the Hughes HD box, no TiVo. Both take a DVI-D connection. A 6 foot DVI-D dual link cable from Blue Jeans is $44 plus shipping. On ebay, you can get them for $10 ($8 of which is shipping). Yes, ding ding ding, alarm bells are going off! Just looking for opinions that might have compared the two beyond just "go with a trusted source." I can make that decision myself based on price v. credibility (and also would like to support the forum if it makes sense). I'm looking for someone who has some experience with the product, or even suggestions for others. Thanks in advance.

I picked up a 20' DVI-D cable at www.buyextras.com. The brand is NXG. I paid just under $50 including shipping. The cable is a little bulky but it works like champ.
