Well, I may take it online if they offer anything interesting. I would try Mario Kart online. But my current plans are to use my PC and XBOX to fulfill my online gaming needs.

I plan on taking it online eventually. There's supposedly a ton of online games that Nintendo hasn't announced yet, so it looks like we're in for some surprises.

I think I will wait it out for a while. In the beginning only one game will be playable.

Nintendo has said before that they have some online projects that they're keeping secret for now. They are still making games like Mario, Zelda, and the like offline, but I presume that the next Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and Mario Party (well, not the next one but the one after) will all be online-enabled but not be solely online.

Phantasy Star Online is supposedly coming to the GC right?

I will buy a GC when Skies of Arcadia comes out. Unless there is some exclusive RPG that comes out, I can't see myself getting the adapter for it. I've got a PS2 & Xbox for my online gaming, such as football, racing, etc.

My only reason to go online with a GC is if they make sports games like NHL 200x or Madden 200x playable online. If they do then probably.

Mario Kart online would be awesome but it still wouldn't beat the yelling and trash talking that occurs when you get others to play with you. Some of my favorite college moments came as a result of mario kart. I'll definitely do online gaming if Ninendo does it right. With Microsoft and Sony rushing in, Nintendo has an oportunity to look at what works and doesn't work and possibly improve upon it. I'm personally happy that nintendo doesn't rush things. I'd rather have quality in the future than crap in the present.
